This past academic year, the CA Institute team at UCLA has worked with their community college partner, Mount San Antonio College (Mt. Sac) to conduct preliminary descriptive analysis on enrollment and outcome trends across 5 school years between students who participate in Mt. Sac’s Accessibility Resource Centers for Students programs and those who do not. The Mt. Sac’s Accessibility Resource Centers provide counseling, instruction, and accommodations for students with disabilities and medical conditions. The CA Institute team is continuing to work with Mt. Sac to collect more data to learn more about the experiences of students who are neurodivergent as they intersect with various social and lived experiences (e.g., students who are directly impacted by the criminal justice system).
