News & Events: Collaboration Grants

The California Institute on Law, Neuroscience, and Education (CA Institute) is excited to announce our inaugural Collaboration Grants, which encourage innovative, cross-disciplinary research to address the intersection of social justice, education, and neuroscience. This funding opportunity invites applicants from UC Law SF, UCSF, and UCLA to submit proposals aimed at improving life & literacy outcomes for minoritized youth, particularly those in the juvenile justice system, while disrupting the deep-rooted connection between socioeconomic inequities and educational challenges.

Full applications are due by December 6, 2024. Funded projects are anticipated to begin around March 1, 2025.
