Mónica Zegers is a research scientist at the UCSF Dyslexia Center. She holds a B.A. and professional degree in Clinical Psychology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Human Development and Education from UC Berkeley. Her work focuses on literacy development in multilingual learners and the creation of assessment tools that support culturally and linguistically diverse students. Mónica contributes to the development of Multitudes, a universal screener for early reading risk. Her work integrates psychological research and educational practice to promote equity in learning outcomes.
